Volunteer

Benwerren could not operate without a wonderful team of volunteers who support our ethos, and there is always need for more. If you are interested in becoming a Benwerren volunteer, please email benwerren_t@bigpond.com or call the office on 03 5967 1021. One of our staff will contact you to discuss how you can become involved and arrange a time to meet.

Volunteer training is held twice a year in February and during term 3. All volunteers must attend training sessions, register for applicable Police and Working With Childrens checks, and commit to a Code of Conduct.

Working Bees

Benwerren is a 100 year old homestead set on 2 acres of beautiful country garden plus 20 acres of attached farmland. Working Bees are a necessity!

If you are interested in becoming a ‘Friend of Benwerren’ and receiving notification of our working bees, email us and let us know. If you are part of a group and interested in having a working bee with your group at Benwerren, we would love to hear from you.

If you have a specialised trade or skill and would like to donate your skills and time we would also love to hear from you.

We believe there is power in prayer. Benwerren truly appreciates the encouragement and prayer from those who support the work in this way. If you have a heart for Benwerren and wish to partner with us in prayer, please contact the office to find out how you can best pray for us.

Donate now to give hope to a woman in need. Your donation could change her life. Just a few days can make a difference.

Benwerren is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping women and children in need. We are a registered charity with DGR status so all donations received over $2.00 are tax deductible.

Benwerren receives no government funding, instead operates through the generosity of its supporters. You can become a monthly sponsor or give a once-off donation. If your heart is for women and children you might want to consider a lasting legacy by including a gift in your Will.

• Online – securely using your credit card by clicking here or going to our donate page on our website.
• Direct Deposit – contact our office 03 5967 1021 and our office staff will provide you the bank details.
• Cheque or Money Order – These can be made out to Benwerren and send it to PO Box 94, Yarra Junction, 3797.
